What is Trauma-Informed Coaching?

Unlike life coaching, which often focuses solely on mindset and goal-setting, trauma-informed coaching also works with the body and nervous system. The goal is to identify the patterns that keep you stuck, regulate your body’s responses, and shape your ability to move forward. We’ll explore the areas where you are experiencing resistance and create goals that support your personal growth towards clarity and self-trust. Healing happens not through willpower alone, but by working with your body’s innate healing capacity.

COACHING VS THERAPY

My Approach

My approach weaves together education and experiential tools to create a foundation for mind-body healing. Each coaching session is a collaborative journey where we clarify your intentions for change, explore what’s ready to shift, and work toward greater clarity and self-trust.

Understanding your nervous system is key to understanding yourself. That’s why education is at the heart of this work. When you learn why your body reacts the way it does, those responses become less frightening. You begin to see that they’re not personal flaws but learned survival patterns, and what’s been learned can be unlearned.

For clients who’ve already done work in therapy, this approach becomes a bridge between healing and living, helping you bring insight into daily practice and embodied change. For those just beginning, it offers a compassionate starting point to understand how your mind and body communicate.

By combining education with body-based practices, this work invites a shift from awareness into embodiment, helping you not just think differently but feel differently in your body.

“What stands out is her ability to teach and simplify complex concepts with visual aids, which helps me truly understand and grasp what I’m learning. This has built my trust in her guidance, allowing me to express myself more fully than I ever have with anyone else. The impact of this work is profound—I leave each session with a greater awareness of my past thoughts and memories, and I view them with more compassion and without judgment. I honestly feel safe to be exactly who I need to be in the moment."
