My own story led me to the journey I’m on today.
My Story
I understand what it means to feel shaped by the stories of your past. Growing up, I often felt like I was constantly striving to fit in, succeed, and prove my worth, not just to my parents, but also within a culture that felt unfamiliar. I struggled with anxiety, people-pleasing, and the quiet ache of never feeling ‘good enough.’ On the outside, no one could see my struggles, but inside, they ruled my thoughts every day.
It wasn’t until I became a parent that I began to truly see the layers of my past. The pain I had inherited revealed itself through my thoughts, behaviors, and reactions as a mother, showing up in ways that didn’t align with the parent I wanted to be. My marriage also felt the weight of those old wounds, as my emotional walls and unprocessed experiences often kept me from fully connecting with my husband. I longed for deeper connection but felt stuck in old patterns of self-protection.
As I embarked on my healing journey and uncovered the layers of early imprints, I began to see how shame and guilt had quietly shaped my decisions. Recognizing them allowed me to respond with greater awareness, both as a parent and a partner. The process was both eye-opening and challenging, pushing me to confront parts of myself I had long overlooked. But through hard work came deep transformation. Now, I see my future with clarity, hope, and a sense of freedom I never thought possible.
This Work Matters to Me
Doing my own healing work showed me how important it is to know what comes next and how to move forward once the pain has been named and the patterns understood. I realized that healing doesn’t end when we uncover our story; it continues as we learn to live differently.
That’s why this work deeply matters to me. I want women to have a place to land, whether they’re just beginning their healing journey or continuing after therapy, where they feel supported, seen, and safe to grow. This work can be challenging, especially when you’re learning new boundaries and ways of being. Having a compassionate space to practice and integrate makes all the difference.
Who I Am Beyond the Work
Raised in East Tennessee and born to Greek immigrant parents, I come from a big and loud family, so it’s no surprise that connection and community are at the heart of everything I love. As a mom of three boys, life keeps me on my toes, but I'm learning to embrace the art of controlled chaos! I’m a lifelong learner, always curious and eager to explore new things, whether it’s the latest self-help book, trying out new recipes, or finding a way to work out with minimal effort. The outdoors is my happy place—I love camping, skiing, and immersing myself in nature. I’m most at peace unwinding with a good book by the lake or ocean. At just 5 feet tall, I may be small, but I make up for it with determination, curiosity, and a whole lot of heart.
